Felt fine, nothing to complain about.

The room was clean, spacious, and had all necessary amenities. We enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby and the gym facilities. The front desk staff provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. a great stay at Ascend Hotel.

The facilities were well-maintained and we loved the coffee and tea bar in the foyer. The personal touches, such as cookies at reception and fruit in the foyer, made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was outstanding, on bedroom. The staff was always accommodating, helpful. Loved its restaurant in local area, nice bonus, especially when it's really hot outside.

I recently stayed at The Virginian Suites, An Ascend Hotel Collection for five nights while visiting Washington, DC. The hotel provided a convenient shuttle service to the metro station, giving me easy access to the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Sabine who helped book me a quiet and comfortable studio with a great view. The hotel was clean and spacious, perfect for families or small groups. The kitchen in my room was well equipped, although it could have been cleaned better. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

Location and rooms were very good, I liked that. Everything was great as expected, though the bathroom was very dated.

The hotel is fairly decent and clean with delicious food and welcoming staff. Exceptionally comfortable beds, beautiful rooms and clean bath.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. the location was convenient for getting to Washington DC. the hotel also offered complimentary amenities such as cookies, lemonade, water, tea, and coffee.

The hotel lacked pay movies like Netflix, but with the proximity to the Capitol and so much to do in the area, it wasn't a big issue. Additionally, the noise from the staff room and the rattling door kept me up in the morning, which was annoying.

We loved hotel's staff and location. Practical location with a metro station minutes away from the property. Moreover, the area was calm.

Conveniently located near the Iwo Jima Memorial, this hotel has great amenities such as a kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff are friendly and offer free shuttle services to nearby stores. The park nearby is great for kids and the lemonade and cookies in the lobby are a nice treat. Highly recommended.

Had a great Xmas at this hotel! Loved having a spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for making breakfast in the morning. the location was also fantastic - just a short distance from the metro station and downtown. Plus, the complimentary shuttle service was a huge help for getting around.

There were a couple of things that could be improved. the sofa bed in the room was a bit small for two people, which might make it uncomfortable for sharing with another adult.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, even offering a better deal than what was advertised online. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Metro, a short walk to Arlington Cemetery, and the impressive monument of Iwo Jima just half a block away. We also appreciated that the hotel welcomed animals.
